This page describes the information collected through the Forge & Crest website and customer portal and how it is intended to be used.

Quote and account information

The website may collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number, delivery postcode, project specifications, required dates, written design instructions and files you choose to upload. If you create a customer account, authentication information and your account identifier are also stored so records can be associated with you.

Orders and documents

The customer portal may store order status, estimated proof, production, dispatch and delivery dates, tracking details, invoices, design files, artwork proofs, production files and order-history updates. Private documents are intended to be accessible only to authorised Forge & Crest administrators and the customer account linked to the relevant order.

How the information is used

Information is used to assess requests, prepare and manage quotations, communicate about projects, review artwork, manage orders, provide customer account access, support production and delivery, and maintain business and transaction records.

Uploaded artwork

Uploaded files may contain logos, insignia, photographs or other intellectual property. They are intended to be stored privately and accessed only as required to assess, manage or fulfil the relevant request or order.

Saved projects and browser storage

Saved account projects contain your coin specification and chosen inspiration. Inspiration saved without signing in stays in this browser until you remove it or clear browser storage. Your current coin brief is kept for the browser session so you can resume it; contact fields and uploaded files are not included in that draft. Signing out does not clear browser inspiration. Artwork approvals and revision requests record the proof version, decision, comments and time. Gallery projects are published separately with permission. Business activity counts are calculated from submitted requests and artwork decisions.

Account security

Customer accounts use an authentication service. Customers are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure. Passwords should not be sent to Forge & Crest by email.
